Show Us Your Office Pets
Work can be stressful, and we can all use a little source of happiness during the day. Many times we have seen a meme about how a workplace should have an office puppy, for “emergencies”. And we agree. We have our own office dog, Chanel, and wondered who else has an “Emergency Office Pet” to brighten their day, and office.
So, “show us your pets” whether it’s a dog, cat, bird, snake, hamster, mouse, fish, horse, whatever you have, we want to see it.
Submit a picture along with a short bio to Walter@thehelpfulpeople.com and show us that special pet that brings a spark of joy to your office or home office. Submissions will be featured on this page, along with our other social media sites. We hope to see your pet soon.

IT Teams “Home Office” pets

Princess Sour Patch Pyper - (January 30, 2023)
Media Relations
The newest member to the “IT” team is Miss Sour Patch, although she has MANY other names. She won us over with her sheer presence, zaniness, and gymnastic ability. While not participating in the neighborhood watch with her big brother, she love chasing springs, bending into impossible contortions, and just being cute and adorable. She aspires to becoming a Social Media star one day.

Sir Nibbles Pyper - (January 23, 2023)
Security
Sir Nibbles was a walk on to the IT team literally, He showed up on my back patio as a stray kitten of about 5 weeks old, and never left. And while his title is honorary, he comes by his name quite naturally. An active biter when he first joined the team, he was constantly told “no nibbles” until the name Nibbles just stuck. While not participating in the neighborhood watch, he guards the front door from his watch tower perch. He has also developed a knack for telling time, as he has made it a habit to jump into my lap around 4pm daily to alert me to the fact that it is time to pay attention to him, not work.
Grand General’s Office Dog

Chanel - (January 16, 2023)
Chanel was born in Michigan and spends her days lounging in the accounting department or sunning herself in the marketing department. Her alter ego “Spike” spends her time patrolling the office, guarding against intruders, and doing random desk checks for Rice Krispies Treats, or any other contraband she can confiscate. Part guard dog, part accounting associate, part Mental Health boost to the office, she has become an integral member of the Grand General Team.
